TeletypeNet is meant to assist both newcomers and salty oldtimers in getting as much accurate information as possible related to the intriguing world of teleprinter (and related equipment) communications: history, technical knowledge, teletypes in the modern internet era, and more. It is not meant to be limited to Teletype Corporation equipment only, though that is our namesake.

Our goal is to promote and preserve the vast and growing amount of information already available online whilst filling in the gaps.

For those interested in admiring these machines but who are not quite ready to get knee-deep with the technical details, see our blog, our YouTube channel, and our Facebook channel.
